I bought this for my grandson and I to use on an "indoor" camping trip. I gave this lantern to him at Christmas with a small tent, and a sleeping bag. The 2 year old loved it. he and I played with it alot during the course of our Christmas night sleepover. Being a two year old, this poor little lantern was flung a couple of times on a hardwood floor. It still works perfectly. The light is bright but has a dimmer switch. We both loved using it during our fake sleepover. Would purchase it again in a heart beat.

My children all have this lantern and it has been a wonderful toy. They mostly use this to go "camping" and for play around the house but we have also used them as nightlights when the power has gone out. The battery last a long time and the led light is just the right brightness.

I bought several of these as party favors for my 3 year olds safari birthday party. Exactlty what I was looking for. It's bright and good quality. They are really cute and made a good impression. BUT, its even smaller than I was expecting. The party guests were 3-5 years old and the lantern seemed small even for them. Wished it was a little bigger. Also, seems a little overpriced at $9.00.
