I should have looked at the size dimensions closer. It is not much larger than a softball. Makes reading the various moon sites hard to read. Great for throwing at family members/guests though.

This is a fun and educational product. It's a moon globe with a sense of style and humor. Just a bit bigger than a grape fruit, this small pillow begs to be held and read for some light-hearted, but meaningful moon exploration. Locate close to a hundred important lunar places. cute for my 'future astronauts'. didnt realize it was scale to the earth we bought as well. love it! has names of astronauts that landed and the heros that were lost in the shuttle explosion. really got my son into planets and conserving our earth.

I already owned Hugg-a-Mars, a gift from a friend when I graduated college, and my infant was delighted by it. When I discovered that there were more hugg-a-planets, I had to have them all.

Hugg-a-moon is perfect---detailed, cute and apparently accurate. (I have not reviewed all the features in detail, but my spot checks have come out okay.) My only initial disappointment is that I did not realize it was to-scale, not the same size as, the Hugg-an-Earth and Hugg-a-Mars. I nearly threw it out with the packaging.

Thank goodness I didn't---my now-toddler daughter is obsessed with the moon and loves that we can play catch with it.
