We play games all the time at home and as a speech therapist I use them daily in therapy. This one is cute for my low functioning kids. It is good for those working on fine motor skills too since they have to pop the animal pieces together. Descriptive language is encouraged when silly combinations are formed.

This is my son's favorite board game, he plays it over and over! It's simple and fun and doesn't require reading skills. My husband and I both enjoy playing it with him. I would say it's probably my favorite game of his also. Each game takes about 10 minutes, but the more players you have, the longer it will take.

I was surprised to see the other reviews that commented on the difficulty of connecting the pieces together. My son goes to occupational therapy for fine motor skill development delays and he fits the pieces together easily.

We bought this toy for my 3 year old who LOVES farm animals. He has other matching games that he loves, so we thought he would enjoy this one. But, it's been way too difficult for him.

First, to play the board game itself, the rules are too complicated for him. Then, the physical part of joining the animals together is tough for his little hands.

We've been playing our own version so we can try to get our money's worth out of the game. I wouldn't recommend this game unless you have an older child who is patient enough to follow directions and has better fine motor skills.

I think a better game for little ones would be one I bought that comes in an egg crate. It only has two parts so it's easier to match. Sorry-I can't remember the name or brand.
