Great Item. Lot's of fun for kids... I think my daughter had to dig out like 18 itmes. Much better then any other digging adventure kits I've ever bought. Well worth it.Best Deals for I DIG Treasures Curse of Pirate Island Excavation Adventure
I can't rave enough about this kittalk about FUN! My five year old is an aspiring archaeologist and along with my three year old the boys had an absolute blast digging out the treasure! As previous reviews stated it is messy so a roasting pan outside is an ideal place to do this project. The initial digging is a bit tough but once the big chunks break off it's treasure after treasure to find. The only other thing I could add is that a paint brush is also a valuable asset with this toyespecially if you are discussing archaeology, anthropology or other digging sciences.Honest reviews on I DIG Treasures Curse of Pirate Island Excavation Adventure
This toy was an enormous hit with my five-eary-old. He received it as a gift for his 5th birthday and while the child can only "dig" for the treasures one time, the experience was the best and the "treasures" are still played with on a regular basis. The words my son used as he was "digging" were "TOTALLY AWESOME!!!" "WICKED COOL!!!" etc... I plan on adding this toy to my list of favorites to give as gifts again and again.Find helpful customer reviews and review ratings for I DIG Treasures Curse of Pirate Island Excavation Adventure
We got this toy by mistake, but the company let us keep it so I gave it to my 10 year old and his friend. They really had to hammer at this for a long long time before they found any of the treasure. They didn't think that part was very fun they just said it was hard. Once they began finding the treasure, they stuck with it until they had dug it all up, so I think they enjoyed that part. From their perspective, overall, they had a decent time with it, but I don't think either of them would want one of these again. I can't imagine any of the kids featured in the other reviews were hammering this by themselves -it was really hard I tried it too.Definitely do this outside, and everyone participating should wear eye protection. Little rocks fly everywhere. At the end, you have a pretty big mess.
This would be more fun if it weren't so much work for a handful of little plastic treasures.
