My 9 year old daughter received this for Christmas and loves it. She is into science kits and loves the combination of mixing ingredients to make "gross" special effects. She was able to work on this by herself and has since used the kit to make fake blood for herself, sister, cousins and friends. Worth the money.

You have to buy too many additional ingrdients in order to male the things in the kit. It should come with everything you need. My son really enjoys it though.

Bought this for my Granddaughter. She likes the fact that it shows her how to use household products to create these special effects. It will come in handy for Halloween. Not much inside the box and probably info you could get from the internet. White glue, food coloring etc. and directions. It's ok.
