Cheap Fisher-Price Mickey's Counting Car

This was bought for a two year old with a room full of existing toys. I typically give money and a small toy as a gift, but trying to find something that will stand out in a sea of toys is tricky.

My step daughter tells me that our grandson loves the toy. (I didn't know he was a Mickey Mouse fan.)

When I was there visiting, I did see other children who singled this out this toy to play with as well. So it was a hit.

My 3 yr old loves his "toon car". It is durable and well made. I enjoy that it's not like other noise making toys that are loud and obnoxious. It simply counts as the car moves forward, counts back when it reverses. Counting backwards is not a concept that is often taught by educational toys. And if it is, it is not number by number as this car does, it's in song or quickly done. The button on the side makes some phrases and sounds, but those aren't as exciting as the counting to my son. The Mickey Mouse character is a little odd; soft body and hard plastic head, but that's fine. He's different than the other MM figures we have.

This is one of those toys you buy and don't give it much thought. My 3yr old LOVES it. It's one of the most played with toys he has. I love that it's educational as well.
