Dinosaurs! That's what my son said when he saw it. He was disappointed that there was no T-Rex as advertised. There were two Triceratops and a Stegosaurus instead. We bought this for him before and there was a T-Rex, Triceratops and a Stegosaurus. Apparently T-Rex is quite popular. His disappointment never quite faded, as T-Rex is his favorite. All the kids at his birthday party wanted to help him dig instead of going home. We will be getting them each their own dinosaur to dig for Christmas. The price is right for this product to do that. It is quality parent and child time.

I have had a few of these type of products from various venders. I liked the price for this one and the extras that came with each dino were well worth every penny. This one is more educational with a fact card and set up for each dino. My son loved it and wanted more once they were gone. A wider selection would be great!! Loved this product, but not for neat freak parents!!!

My granddaughter loves these excavation kits. We hide the box and let her discover which dinosaur she is uncovering. She will find one or two "bones" and then look in her dinosaur book to see if she can tell what it is going to be. We had to use some "real" tools, because the plastic one and the tiny paintbrush are tough to get anywhere with. Fun and educational project.
