I bought this model because it is supposed to be anatomically correct, which is a necessity for my medical/radiology classes. While it does have the necessary markings the product is not finished very well. It is very obvious where the molds were put together and the rough edges were not sanded off. In some places you cannot tell if it is a marking on the bone or a molded ridge that was simply overlooked. Some places were so sharp you could actually cut your hand on them. The quality is simply not worth the price even though the price is lower than other places, I would not recommend or purchase this skeleton again. I simply cannot state enough how poor the quality of this skeleton is.

I bought 'Steve' while I was a student. I was taking Anatomy and Physiology, and I had a major exam on the bones. I knew the only way I was really going to learn this was by physically touching and seeing the bones. (There was real skeletons on the exam, not paper). He was a great price, great size, and he is the perfect study tool. If you're looking to do something similar, I suggest you go to a local office supply store like Staples and by color tape. (I used Scotch expression I believe it's called). I then made a list of all the parts I needed to know, and put tape on or near the part I was labeling. I then had my mom go through the list numerically until I knew each bone. I used several colors incase there were parts close together. Try it! It's super helpful! (*side note I also suggest using online study guides before doing this to get an idea)!Good Luck!
