Our three year old grandson loved it. It was his favorite gift on Christmas morning.. It was sturdy and came complete with sticks for playing and a strap for marching.

This drum is worn easily by our children and has a nice sound to it. I was a little surprised that the outer layer is just made of cardboard. The top seems like it could easily be dented and destroyed, but it has held up nicely now for over a year. I like that it came with 2 drumsticks, because many of the children's drums only came with one stick. Overall, it's a nice drum, but I think it is not that durable. I think we have been lucky that our oldest child has always treated it gently and lucky that the youngest child hasn't sat on it or poked a hole through the top.

This drum is built pretty well and makes a pretty decent sound. Great toy for the price. All 3 kids here love it.
