This is the best piggy bank I've found. The whole colored top part screws off, so it's easy to get the money out (no shaking to get it out of a little hole in the bottom of the bank). It's also quite durable--I've bought three for my three rambunctious boys, and even with being knocked off of high dressers and stepped on or kicked or whatever else they have done to them, the digi piggy are not broken and work just fine. The digital counter is nice, but my kids take the money out to look at or count, and then put it back through the slot, so the count isn't accurate.
The only thing to be aware of is that the coins don't just drop right in. You have to push them in a little to get through the counter.
