I purchased these as a refill at my office as staff quickly went through the trial pack that came with the laminator. When I ordered the 3mil pockets were the only ones available. They work great for laminating maps and photos for infield use. It would be useful if Purple Cow offered the 5mil pockets as well. The laminator and sheets are an economical answer when you have infrequent laminating needs.

Amazon's price is the best. If you laminate a lot or a little these are nice to have on hand. I type all my recipes on 4x6 index cards and then laminate them.

I keep them on individual rings, like harbingers, by "type", cookies, main dish, etc... When I want a recipe I pull it off the ring and I don't have to worry about "soiling" the card. Love 'em.

I have a Purple Cow Laminator, so definitely order the same brand pouches. These do not require a "carrier" in the laminatig process, and having these sizes make it easier to have the "right size" on hand so I don't have to use a larger one and then trim it to size. Having the smaller size on hand makes it a breeze to laminate a business card, a small picture, an ID card, etc. quickly.

Pouches are great as is the Purple Cow Laminator easy to use and can stay out in the rain.
