for whatever reason she'd only had it for about a month when it stopped working... just stopped...I thought maybe it just needed new batteries, she hadn't dropped it and it had suffered no abuse. I am not sure what happened, but I am glad I had the V-Smile console that attaches to the TV as back-up... all the V-Smile games I had bought to go with the pocket game worked with the console as well so I don't feel I wasted TOO much money, but I'd be reluctant to buy this again. As it is, we now use the case to put all her video games in because the game itself died a really quick and unexpected death.
