My daughter turned 6 and loves to build this puzzle with her dad!! It is a great time for the two of them to do something constructive. We are both impressed with the quality and the learning value of this puzzle. It was a good price as well.

I bought this for my 5-year old nephew and he enjoyed it. The puzzle was just hard enough to be fun, and the final result looks good and can stand. The pieces are made of balsa wood and some of them have a paper film on them with the 'skin', result looks good but do not expect a realistic 'skin' effect.
