This was the best baby purchase so far! Ever since we bought this mobile, our 3 month old twin boys wake up happy in the morning. No more crying and fussing. I can take my time getting to them and getting them ready for the day. They are happy to stay in their crib and look at the mobile.
I especially like that the mobile has a few simple, bold colors. There is no music and no automated motion. It does not assault the babies' senses.
The babies are content to look at the mobile for a long time. When I or my husband spin it for them it adds to their excitement.
This is a baby item that seems like it will last and will be able to be used for many babies. And the best part? No batteries needed!

The whole family loves the "chunky" graphic simplicity of this beautifully conceived and constructed mobile. Its bold shapes and colors do a great job of keeping Baby Grrl! engaged. And when Daddy or Mommy spins and clacks the mobile and it's pieces BBG is invariably intrigued stimulated by the sound and motion. Love it.Best Deals for PlanToys Plan Preschool Rattle Mobile Baby
I love the design of this mobile--I really didn't want something plastic-y or overly cutesy. The primary colors are nice, and the concept seems well thought out. (Although, honestly--I can't see giving my son the "rattles" to play with when we're done using this as a mobile--the cords that attach them to the mobile aren't removable unless you cut them off, which doesn't really make them seem like stand-alone toys.)However, I can't help but be bothered by one thing--the mobile hangs a bit crooked. The natural/yellow/red clacker is a little lighter than the other two rattles and doesn't hang as low. I'm not sure if this is intentional or if I just got a reject, but either way it bothers me.
It bothers me enough that I thought about returning the mobile--but I couldn't find anything I liked better. And my son seems to like looking at it in his crib, especially when I make it spin. So we're keeping it. I just wish it hung level.
