I use these physics cars in a classroom to study inertia, acceleration, and speed. They work great. The axles run the spool like wheels smoothly and they run in a nice straight line because the wheels are connected across the car. The plastic parts are thick and strong, so they can take a lot of stress. Additionally the basket in the center of the cart that holds the weights is large enough to keep the weights in place. The simple design has proved to be reliable.

I run them down plastic gutter tracks with one end propped up.

I have and would purchase these carts again.
