We got this on a Christmas sale for $7 at toys r us and I'm quite pleased with the game. My daughter is almost 5 and in preschool. It may be difficult to kids that may not know their alphabet. The games does ask to pick letters and numbers out to move forward in the game. During game play their are specific instructions give verbally to help the child through the game. My daughter loves this game and plays it for about 30 mintues at a time.

My 3-yr old daughter likes to be in control and the v-tech games let her do that. i think this game is a bit beyond her present abilities but she'll get better at it.
