I got My puppy pal Scout for my 2yrs old grandson,he loves this toy so much,specially when he mentions his name,and sings about his name.It was very easy to download this toy,I even picked his favorite songs from Leap Frog website,it came with the USB wire very easy to install.We have a German Shepherd dog in the house,the dog kept looking at this toy,wondering if it was real,the way it was talking,singing and barking,and made other animal sounds,my grandson was having so much fun with it,looks like it's his best toy now.At night I put the lullaby music for him and he slept peacefully.Thank you Leap Frog and Amazon for having such a wonderful toy for consumers like me.

My son Collin is ten, and has Down Syndrome and Autism. HE functions on an 18 to 36 month old level, and he is very hard to find toys for. You should have seen his eyes light up and heard his squeals of laughter when Scout said "Hi Collin"! Not only has this toy held up (Collin tends to be hard on his toys) but the value to him has been immense! While I know this toy is meant for 'younger' children, given the developmental delay my son has, and the challenges that come with it, I would recommend My Pal Scout to ANYONE for their child. This is by far one of the best toys I have evern seen, and brings to mind the old "Teddy Ruxpin" dolls. A stuffy that actually talks to you, sings songs you know, and knows your name can't wait to see what Leapfrog comes up with next!

We already had 1 Scout that said Kyle, then when his 11 month younger brother started playing with it and realized it said his brothers name, it was important to get him one that said his name. Both boys are very happy and Mom programed them so they have different songs, etc. Just an amazing bedtime friend, it was all that we were hoping it would be. Thank you.

Got this for my son when he turned 6 months old and he hasn't put it down since. He gets so excited when it says his name. His name is not very common so I was happy that it was one of the many options. I love that you can customize so many of the sayings and songs so that it is tailored to your child.

I have twins and rather than getting my daughter Violet, we decided to try the Fisher Price learning dog and I regret the purchase. Scout is so much better with many more songs, words and sayings, plus it is personalized. I bought this as a gift for many friends and highly recommend it for any baby.
