The large shapes are easy for young children to handle and they are great for not only teaching the alphabet and letter sounds but color recognition, to provide sorting activities as well.
I wish more toy manufactures would provide materials for children with visual issues.

The backs gather dirt etc and the magnets can come out of the spot in the back. We just superglue them back in when they do.Also some of the letters could have benefited with a second magnet as the same ones will always slide down the fridge. This is the second set I have bought as the first set bought 10 years ago had too many letters go missing over the years to spell much.
The design could be improved by solid backs (like the numbers I bought to go with them) and stronger/more magnets.
Even with the siding and dirt issue, we like these. I think my 11 year old plays with them as much as the 21 month old. :)

I have not tried this recent purchase as it is a gift for Christmas. I have however purchased this toy before locally. I like the size of the letters.....easy for toddler to grasp and hold. They are the best letters I have come across as far as durability....the magnets never fall out as is the case in other brands.I couldn't find them in stores in my area this time and that is the reason I went through your website. It would be great if they were more available.
