My son is 3 years old and did not want his baby guitar anymore, as he now wanted one with real strings that he could strum. OMG! He loves this guitar and has played with it everyday since. The strings seem to be sturdy and no guitar pick is needed. He has dropped it a few times, but the plastic body seems to be tough too. I would recommend it to anyone!
