I was shopping for an activity table and found this one on sale. I also bought Leapfrog Learn and Groove table that got excellent reviews and seems to be the most popular. However, both of my twins prefer Light and Sound Safari. They are fascinated by spinning discs with flashing lights. If I had to buy only one table now, I would definitely buy this one, although LeapFrog is pretty good too. The only thing I do not like that it can be easily moved around. Also it is lower than Leapfrog's. And I am yet to find on/off switch (I don't think there is one).

I bought this table on a whim for a x-mas gift for my 9-mo old. I have a few problems with it: 1No on/off switch, so if your child begins playing with this thing early in the morning everyone in the house is going to know about it. It is very loud. 2Slides easily on any floor. I had assumed that it would have some sort of grippers on the bottom of it to keep it from moving around too much, but it doesn't and slides away from my son every time he tries to play with it. Which means he can't play with it without an adult holding it for him. 3The original batteries were complete garbage and were dead from the minute they came out of the box.

On the plus side my son LOVES this toy. He is fascinated by the spinning discs and figured out how to move them back and forth in about five seconds flat. The rest of the toy doesn't seem to be that interesting to him right now, but once he is able to play with it alone he may enjoy the rest of it more.
