Easy to install. Easy to put together. Has a decent amount of detail. The space-crafts rotate around at a slow speed. The earth lights up but it's a dim light so it's perfect for night-time.
My only complaint is the sound of the motor. It's a little too noisy for my taste. My son said it doesn't bother him and we turn it off when he falls alseep so I guess it's not that big of a deal. I still wish it was quieter. He also received the solar system version of this mobile from Santa, and that motor is quiet so I'm wondering if this one we got is defective? I don't know.

We have only had this less than a week so I can't comment on how long the batteries last. We only have it on for about 20 minutes at a time so I'm going to assume they last a decent amount of time.
This makes a nice addition to his room and he's happy with it. I would recommend this to anyone that has a child interested in space.

this space mobile is a nice addition to your room but its true the motor is a little noisy but its still nice when it is displayed .over all im satisfied with this product and i like to see all the space units revolve around the earth
