we ordered this to replace an identical item we had bought at a museum, for my son, who was 7 at the time. We wound up breaking this one pretty quickly too, but not before we'd had some fun with it and he got to see how it worked.

This is a fun and interesting science toy. It is fragile, so it's best for older children and adults. I have not been able to find the hand bubblers in our city, so I was happy to find these online.
