This program has been great for my son. He is in first grade and his reading and spelling have improved since I bought Hooked on Spelling. He thinks the CD-Rom is fun and is able to complete the lessons all by himself. I love that each CD-Rom is broken into 20 lessons, and you cannot progress to the next lesson unless the current lesson is mastered.

I love all the Hooked on Phonics series, and this program was no exception. Not only is it well superbly designed and all but it also helped my daughter decode the words much faster while reading in real life. She is one of the best readers in her class. The techniques are simple and highly effective.

I have heard many people when I was younger smash hooked on phonics and I was so skeptical of getting this for my son. I am so glad over the years I have learned to do what is best for me and my family. I bought this product for my son as he struggled really badly in 1st grade. I bought this spelling product to go along with his hooked on phonics for reading and now that school is about to begin can you say no more struggling. He has speech therapy and she also has contribute to his academics weaknesses and we worked so hard to summer to fill in the holes that come along with transferring to Kindergarten to first grade and hooked on phonics has help tremendously. I will continue to buy all their products.
