This microscope (AmScope M150) was purchased for homeschool use. After comparison of several models under $100, this one was purchased due to its sturdy metal construction, coarse and fine focus, 360 degree rotating head, and $80 price. Others at a similar price did not include the fine focus nor the rotating head. Both of these features have been fine additions to a fine microscope!

I know there's better microscopes out there, but for the times I'll need this, I think this will work just fine. I'm counting yeast cells to help with brewing beer.
