I have an almost 4 year old and a 15 month old. Both LOVE this toy. We considered buying another because they fight over the pieces, but figured they need to learn to share sometime. Some of the pieces are a little small, so the 2 year age appropriateness is probably correct. This is our third child with another on the way, so we're not as cautious. Definitely would not allow our 15 month old to walk around with the screwdriver, bolts or nails. I would look for this elsewhere. I only payed $15 for mine.Tuesday, April 15, 2014
Cheap Fisher-Price Play My Way Workshop
We have had this tool set for four months now and my son is still banging around on it. It covers all the basics of a tool set and stores compactly in its own bin. We did not get the "customizable play center" that can go with this; we just play with it on the floor or on a table. My toddler son can use the hammer and saw with ease, but the screw driver and wrench will take a little more work on those fine motor skills. It is made of very durable plastic, but there are no sharp edges. We also have the kitchen set which is equally fun and storable.
