I have an 8 month old son who has found this toy entertaining for the past five months. He Loves to listen to the various noises and songs it sings. There are two volume levels and all sorts of little sayings and tunes. I find it especially annoying but it can make a car trip go by so much smoother when he has something to focus on other than the fact that he hates being in his car seat. It surprises me that he never tires of it...but flipping the little flaps and pressing the three buttons seems to offer him enough of a variety. The little handle fits perfectly in his hand and whether he touches it or not it continues to make noises. (I suggest turning it off when not in use as if one of the flaps is up it'll continue to speak/sing) "The animals are playing peek a boo...come along and join the fun!" makes me crazy after hearing a dozen times...but Jack loves it so we keep it around. I've not yet had to swap out the batteries...which is a plus....many toys drain the batteries quickly, but not this one.

My daughter loves this toy unfortunately. It is the most irritating and repetitive noise toy that she has. We can live with the others around, but the "peekaboo!" and animal sounds hit nerves. We keep it in her diaper bag for outings. The sounds are loud enough to hear in a loud restaurant.

My daughter has loverd this toy since she could smack it at a month old. She learned very quickly the colors, and could select the color when asked to do so by me. The toy has been thrown, slobbered, washed, you name it it has survived! Great gift for every baby shower!

We received this toy as a christmas gift and it is easily my 2-3 month old's favorite toy. She bats at it and is learning to flip up the tabs and laughs at it. I'm amazed how much time she can spend with this toy alone. I love how it has good learning reinforcements. It will say the tab colors, make animal noises, say things like "a baby sheep is a lamb" and the songs are catchy.

My infant loves this toy. I gave it to him when he was only 2-3 months old, and over time he learned to lift the tabs and push the buttons. It keeps him entertained for 30-45 minutes at a time. He's now 7 months old and still plays with it. I made it his "carseat" toy. The volume is adjustable and I always kept it on the lower volume. I didn't find the music annoying like other reviewers. It is catchy though and will get stuck in your head!
