I bought this as a way to help my child learn his letters. He is very hands on so I thought this would be a way to help him remember. Here's the reasons why I love this:
1. Sturdy Construction-heavy duty plastic that unless it's used as a sword, it doesn't easily break
2. Long-it's long enough to be able to make a bunch of different stuff (although it doesn't make a full star)
3. Imaginative-it makes so many more things than just letters
4. Portable-fits easily in my purse to use while waiting in line
We just got back from a trip and spent probably 2 hours with 6 of us making things and everyone else trying to guess. More than once my son got it out and started making the letters he knew.
