This googly eyed fish and blue flapping tail makes this glockenspiel charming and entertaining. It has 8 removable color-coded metal keys (tuned to the scale of C major) and comes with two wooden mallets, that store towards the wooden tail end. The glockenspiel itself is made from pine wood and has a nice rounded profile. It also comes with an international songbook musical notes are color-coded to match the metal keys. My parents sent this to my son who is 2 1/2. He LOVES it. He took it out, started playing with it and singing the ABCs and Old McDonald (obviously not to the "music" he was making). It is an excellent size and such a fun shape, easy for him to play and the mallets store right in the tail of the fish for easy storage and clean up. The sound is excellent. For his age, it is slightly difficult that the keys can lift off although they are very secure and would not come off without being pulled on. he likes to take them off and gets frustrated whn he cannot get them back on in the right order. The price on Amazon is excellent, I had recently seen this item at full price at a children's store. I think it is worth the retail price but am glad to know my parents got a better deal.Best Deals for NINO Fish Glockenspiel
got this as a gift for our friend's baby and he is now at the age where he can play it and loves it :-)
