I am very very very disappointed in these letters. They are not consistent in orientation (which is extremely important) and they vary in size. As well, the contrast between the pink background and the sand paper is not very high. I feel that Kid Advance generally has wonderful products and this was not what I would expect from them.

I am a Toddler Montessori teacher and I recently purchased the cursive sandpaper letters to supplement the sounds that I have been teaching the older children. We only teach in cursive at my school because it is easier for the chidren to learn to write fluidly and they naturally separate words by lifting the pencil off the paper. The sandpaper letters are a great way to introduce the toddlers to the phonics I am teaching them. It is a very durable product, the tactile letters are easy to trace by touch and to see visually. The colorings are exactly the same as the Montessori sandpaper letters that our school has used for years.

These letters are almost exactly what are being used in my son's Montessori classroom.

They are very durable considering that they are being handled and occasionally dropped by my preschooler. A great affordable product to have to reinforce what he's learning in the classroom at home.
