Discount Talking Activity Book
I bought this from Walmart as a last minute gift for my 20-month oldkid. I'm so, so glad I did!! I recommend this for any parent with kids of appropriate age for it. Now at 30 months he's still interested and it has so much functionality! Also, the thing is freakin' indestructible. It was busted and doing this weird skip-sound any time you press on a button (a usual fate for my son's electronic toys), but then it just got better. My son regularly dumps his cups on it, drops it, knocks it off of tables, and it is still in working order. The glued-on papers are water-damaged but haven't come unstuck from the book somehow. He's used it just about every day since Christmas. Very few toys/books survive that much use by him.
