I have always enjoyed Battleship and this is very similar. It took me awhile to fully understand how to set it up but it turned out to be rather easy. My son and I enjoy the time together while playing this game. I like that you can store the pieces underneath but I wish you didn't have to take it apart each time to put it away.

Fun game. Wish it was more travel ready, but really like the way the game is setup. Enjoy the noises too.

This is a no frills set. The pieces do store underneath but the compartments come open and the pieces fall out if you turn it on the side. The letters and numbers on the grid are hard to read. There is no where to put the white and red pins while playing either. So you'll need a bag or cup to keep them in during play.

Pretty much like playing Battleship. With this game you enter the coordinates for your ships once you've placed them on the board. Coordinates are entered on a keypad on the right side of the board for each player. The game announces whether you scored a hit, miss, type of ship that was hit and finally when it's sunk. When the last ship is sunk it announces a congrats to the winner while playing some victory music.

What could make this product better would be the ability to fold up like a briefcase, for portability. The bottom section is one solid piece, while the top grid is connected to the bottom. Think of an upside down 'T'.
