It was smaller than I had anticipated, however it may have been my fault for not taking into account the measurements. The compass on the bottom was broken in the sense that it didn't even point north and it was not glued into the compartment properly. Small flaws from being handmade, but nothing major. The globe looks good and the movement feels smooth. Looks good on my wife's desk.
