Both of my girls love this game. I think my 4 year old has learned so much just by watching her big sister play and then taking her turn. Santa brought this for my 3 and 6 year olds for Christmas. Although they both enjoy playing it, the age for it should be lowered. It is not at all challenging for my 6 year old. I wonder now if ANY of the 6-8 games will be a challenge for my oldest. My 4 year old daughter loves this Vsmile game! I agree with the other reviewers who say it is more appropriate for age 4-5 instead of age 6-8 and that it is not extremely educational. She has no trouble operating it without parental involvement and this is her first electronic game. It captures my daughter's attention and keeps her entertained! I bought her the Vsmile and games mainly for when we take car trips. She's only had hers since Christmas but we took a 3 hour car trip already and she played this game the entire trip! My 5 year old daughter does seem to like this game. But it really seems like it should be for 3-5 year olds. The game play is quite boring and other than math it is not very challenging. I gave it a 2 stars because my daughter does enjoy the game somewhat.
