I had bought this drum for my one year old Grandnephew as a Christmas present and he just loves it! So do the adults for that matter! LOL! The drum is compact and very well made. You can either press the buttons for some preprogrammed versions of popular songs or you can put it on manual mode and let your little one hit it and make sounds. The best part is that the drum lights up in different colors when you hit it and the little cymbal is just way too much fun! The volume on it is medium-low, so you won't annoy others or hurt anyone's hearing. The size makes it easy to fit in a diaper or toy bag as well. It's a very cute little drum!
