I purchased this for my 4-year old grandson and the fossil kit for my 9-year old grandson as a spring break project at our house. This one offered a choice of 4 dolphins to make. We love these kits. I choose different ones each time they come. Sometimes we glue them to a plaque or background to let them put in their rooms.

We really like it. It is easy to use but they do not include enough paint for the different dolphins. They need to show the colors of the dolphins in more detail. Overall my kids like it.

Well, I should have read the description more closely. You have to mix & make your own mold. It was a little too much for my 6 year old kiddos so I sent it back. But I think it would be a great kit for a slightly older child (say 8+).
