I saw this in Hong Kong where I had promised my six year old a couple of toys if he had been good. Unfortunately, we got the version where the instructions are all in Chinese. But no problem, he could follow the drawings and complete them. The pieces are fairly well made and the water propelled devices do work. So of them need a higher gear ratio than what's in the design to get the vehicle moving. Overall it's great fun, and my 6 year old is having a blast learning about gears, drives, ratios, and water power!

I bought this for my 7 year old inventor and explorer. He has had no end of fun building and creating. There are a variety of vehicles to be made per the included instructions, but the parts are sturdy and easily used to create whatever a child wishes to try. This is a toy that will be used for many years to come.
