I bought this toy as a Christmas present for my 15month old. She loves Sesame Street, but Cookie Monster in particular. I thought it was really neat that you can buy the other characters of this toy, Big Bird and Elmo, and share the blocks. I have played with it a little and it so far it is really durable, easy to use, and will help her learn her numbers. I can't wait to buy the other 2 so we can have a complete set.

My grandson loves the Elmo alphabet blocks toy, so I got him this one. I guess I didn't pay attention to the details and discovered when we got it that the mouth doesn't open like Elmo's which is half the fun.

This would be a really great product if the sensors wouldn't get stuck. You have to fiddle with it so much so that it can read the blocks, otherwise Cookie Monster keeps asking you the same question over and over.

My almost 4-year-old and 10 month old play with this together (he puts in cubes, she watches and listens)

My son likes #1 best, that might be because it's 1 chocolate chip cookie

My son has to fiddle with the blocks to get them in correctly

Have to wait once he starts talking, pushing button or inserting a new block doesn't stop him just a personal preference so that the toy reacts to what my kids do to a greater extent

The staying power hasn't been so good, they still play with it rarely

I was thinking this would be fabulous for a 2 year old (minimum recommended age). A 2 year old would be challenged to have the dexterity with inserting the cubes the right way (note the tines have to be at the bottom) and is ready to hear about numbers.

This toy is so hard to find! I gave it as a gift and they were ecstatic I managed to find it for their son! He loves it!!!
