This type of "self-correcting" puzzle was suggested by my daughter's Kindergarten teacher at the very end of the year. She was still having a lot of problems with learning the alphabet and sounds due to an auditory processing delay. Any child working on the alphabet could benefit from this though. The pieces are as sturdy as you can expect. Good buy.
