9-12 still love to go to the board and pick teams. The spinners provide a fair and suspenseful way to get all kids engaged in the set up stage of an activity. Wish I could think of more ways to use the spinners.

These spinners are an excellent addition to your teaching toolbox. These spinners have a strong magnetic back that holds the spinner to any magnetized surface. I draw a large circle, divide it into sections and label each. My students spin the spinner and the whole group game begins. They absolutely love it! It is also a great method to teach probability!

I was a little worried that these spinners would 1) fall off the board when spun and 2) come to rest in a vertical position more often than anything else. But they are great as long as you spin them carefully. Once you get the hang of how much force is needed (spin too hard and yes, they do fall right off), they work very well, and they do NOT always land pointing straight up or straight down, not at all (that one was my biggest worry). My students LOVE these, and I love how I can use them for just about anything. I do wish the magnets were much stronger so I could let the kids spin them (we tried, but first graders just can't spin them gently) but that's a minor issue.

These are great for many uses in the classroom. You won't be disappointed if you get them. They are actually very durable.

I teach Kindergarteners, most of the time in small groups working on literacy. I saw these spinners and immediately thought of all the possible activities we could do and how much the kids would like them. Unfortunately, one of the spinners came broken and one of the others is not well balanced, so that it tends to always point down after spinning. The third one seems to be working for now. As I said, great idea , but poor execution.
