Do not order from this seller. I am a teacher and I have used Smithsonian crystal growing kits in my classroom for many years. They are great fun and always thrill the students. There are many possibilities for experimenting with growing the best crystals. But this seller is showing a kit to grow many different colors and types of crystals and geodes. That is not the kit they send. Instead I got a kit that grows 3 types and only 2 bags of powder instead of the 8 advertised. The kit I received is also good, but it is $10. less than what I paid. Beware from this seller!

Bought this for my 9 year old son. We followed the directions and got a mess. Not at all what is in the description. He was very disappointed as was I.
