I would highly recommend this choo choo loop! Our daughters are 6 and 2 and it is amazing how such a simple toy can keep the attention of children so long but it is a great toy. We especially like putting the train in the loop and letting it roll all over the house.. just like a hamster in a ball.. pretty funny! It is kinda hard to snap the pieces together but that is simply because the connection is nice and sturdy and you can easily twist for the roller coaster effect. Great toy!!

All I can say is this train goes everywhere with us. It is my son's absolute favorite toy. We panic when we can't find it. We joke that it has 9 lives also because it has been dropped many times from heights and still functions. Its perfect for a 1-year old boy.

Looked all over for a train that our 18 month old grandson could play with and saw this one on the Little Einstein video. The toy is awesome because he can operate it himself. He likes that he can take the track apart and we like that it can be made into a circle or a straight track. Love that he can push the button to make the train stop and go by himself and that he can make it go forwards and backwards. We love that the train makes a chugging noise because that is what intrigues him about trains. Very durable toy and fun for our little guy.

I got this train for my daughter when she turned 1 year old. It's been lots of fun, assembling the track in a circle or wave, then letting the train run. She's almost 2 now, and she's lost interest in running the train on the track, but she still loves letting the train run along the floor. It will go and go, hit a wall, then reverse, go and go, hit another wall and go forward again. It's entertaining to watch, fun to play with.

I wish it had either a "sound off" feature, or an auto off. It's pretty loud, and there is no volume control. My daughter will play a while, lose interest, and leave it running. It'll just keep going, making whistle and chugga chugga racket as long as the batteries last.

Happy with the purchase, daughter has enjoyed it.
