as a dance teacher of 2-6 year old kids i am always looking for instruments that will help teach them rhythm but won't break my budget. this is one of those instruments. the kids love it and i loved the price. thanks so much

I take this to drum circles so bystanders can join in. I find that I enjoy playing it also. The instrument has a very nice sound as a guiro or wood block. Not as loud as a regular wood block but very adequate.

Best Deals for Rhythm Band Guiro Tone Block

I purchased two of these to use with my seniors choir -a group of 35 singers, average age about 87. I have one of them use it as a woodblock, striking with the small included mallet; and another use it as a guiro, scraping it with the handle of the mallet. It makes quite a lot of noise for such a small item, and the size works well with older adults.

I may get another one or two of these -they work really well with the repertoire we use, and my seniors love making noise with them

A simple instrument at a reasonable price. While this is not "musician quality," it's perfect if you're putting together a rhythm set for childremn or for a drumming circle.
