My 20 month old has been playing with this for a month or so now. It still comes out every day and enjoy it. Nice that there are holes all the way through so there is no restriction of where pieces go. VERY sturdy and durable. Recommend it.

My 1 yo plays with this toy for long periods of time! She loooves animals! It helps with her motor skills too!

We needed some quiet toys for a wedding. Mix, Stack & Farm was a big hit, and just the right choice for kids around 15 mos. old. Stacking toys are a universal favorite, but this one offers a bit more of a challenge. Most of the chunky animal pieces are more elongated, making it just a little harder to line up the two holes on pegs. Kids are beginning to recognize animals at this stage too--our grandson likes stacking these very familiar barnyard animals on and off the wooden pegs, which are strong enough for stacking, but not totally rigid. The flexible pegs can be bent forward or backwards, sending animal pieces everywhere. Only a child could be amused by such a simple action, but it sure is effective here. Our guy loves twanging the pegs after he's finished stacking. Best yet, all the pieces, including the wooden base, fit into a zip-lock bag. Nothing lost and easy to transport. A simple, durable and fun hand-eye coordination toy.

We bought this for our 2 year old, and she absolutely loves it! It's adorable and very well made. It is currently her favorite toy.
