The counting theme song (played on level 3) is a catchy tune that's fun to sing with and there are a lot of funny sounds on level 2 that my son just loves. I repeat the sounds and we both laugh! I don't know if he's learning his numbers yet, but this book is a lot of fun, which to me is worth it!
Our favorite page is for the number 8 in which there are eight fish that each sing a note of an octave (do-re-mi-fa-so-la-ti-do). I like to play different tunes on it and we both laugh at the "fa" fish because it sounds so funny! We love this book!

I'm using this with my six month old, so certainly his expectations for a storyline are pretty limited, but personally I was pleased that this book scraps the original Rainbow Fish picture book's story. It's got everything you like about the original picture book, i.e. the lovely pictures and sparkly scales, and nothing you don't, i.e. the disturbing message about conformity. The puppets are a really nice touch and my little guy definitely enjoys that part. I think this one's a great pick, especially for a younger baby.Best Deals for Little Touch Leap Pad: Rainbow Fish 1,2,3
