Well if your child likes any thing to stack you might be okay but for my son he got really bored with it eventhough he is in the right age group.It took him once to figure it out(i couldnt just kidding)anyway its now being used as a door stop and for the price they charge in my opinion its just not worth it.

I have a simple rule. No plastic toys. It makes toys kind of a challenge. I expect to pay more for toys.

Wooden Stacking Owl:

Wooden base, read the listreceived the toy, big shiny yellow plastic wings. Bummer.

I am disappointed.

This stacker is one of my daughter's favorites because she likes owls. It is pretty heavy, so if your child likes throwing things around, it would not be safe. My daughter hasn't figured out the order of the pieces, but she stacks them just fine all jumbled-up and has a good time. We are teaching her the correct order of pieces, she has a hard time getting the yellow wings go through the whole. Overall, this is a nice educational toy, esp. if you like owls.

Love Melissa & Doug. I teach 2&3 year olds @ a Montessori school. This & I also bought the snowman are a big hit!!!
