We decided to add this game to the collection because it teaches about geography, maps, culture, animals, etc. Which is different then most of the other games (teaching mostly word building, basic math, forms). It's a great addition to the collection.

Our son (6 y-old) likes it. He's learning about the world, and seems quite intrigued by this game. The maps got his attention, since maps are familiar to him but then from pirate-tv shows and movies (treasure maps). Now he's on his own treasure finding adventures.

I bought this for my 5 year old and 3 year old because they love google earth and maps. So far this game doesn't get much play. When you want to confirm a choice in the other games you press a green check mark, in this game it is a magnifying glass and I think that confuses them. It also seems to quiz them on things that it doesn't teach them and they have no idea, like where obscure animals are from or matching countries with their flags. You also have to drag items to the correct match and the items you drag slide back whether you are wrong or didn't drag it precisely enough, it is frustrating to them. The micromods are fun because you can download them to travel in a spaceship or helicopter. They played it a bit at first, but not so much anymore. Overall, I am happy we have this game because it is unique, but it wouldn't have been my first purchase if I had tested it first.

Children enjoy playing this game. The skills reviewed are valuable and age appropriate. My only issue with this game is that the challenges are timedthe time allowed is not sufficient for a 4/5 year old which was a source of frustration.

This game is excellent. It's so educational I would reccomend it to anyone. I love the learning curve and I am so impressed more than any other of the games. We use it on the leapster explorer and leappad. My 3 and 6 year old sons can not play it enough and have learned so much in the past two weeks from it.

This is a part of the Leap Frog system. If you want to engage and entertain your child in a way not unlike "Sesame Street" and other classic learning programs, this is for you. The great thing is that it is mobile, teaches kids about devices, and how to use, but more importantly IT TEACHES about math and language. It engages the child to THINK.Great system, highly recommended. The kids can't put it down.
