I bought this to help train my housebroken puppy. I hung it from the doorknob with some twine (it snakes easily through the handle) and trained him to touch the bells with his nose when he needs to go out. Works as intended.

I looked at a number of musical items for grandson who was having his first birthday. I decided to buy all Hohner products as soon as I saw that they are ALL "...BPA and phthalate free!" I'm very concerned about the toxins that are in many children's products and was thrilled to find a company that doesn't use them.

While it's very nicely constructed, the bells are too "tight" to make a good jingly noise.
Also, while I do know it's for kids, it's really, really small.

I bought this jingle bell after being in a dance/music class with my 9 month old where we used similar instruments. My baby loves to hold and jingle the bells and it's very durable to teething and drooling. Initially it mostly went in the mouth, but now that he's 11 months old, he actually shakes it to music and in the car to entertain himself. Great product, no complaints.
