My kids love it but unfortunately the main tube of the rocket is made from a plastic that is not very sturdy and ours shattered after it hit the hardwood floor. This is not a problem if the rocket never hits the ground. Maybe always use it over grass...but what kid is going to do that? It is ironic that the air tube that connects to the base is threaded and prevents the separation you would expect from an inexpensive toy. The light is a little hard to turn on if you don't know precisly where to press. Other than that it is pretty cool but would not recommend for under 4 years old as your kid needs some weight and leg power to be able to stomp with enough force to get the rocket airborn.

Bought this for my 2 year old son for Christmas. Although it is much smaller than we expected, he is absolutely amazed at how it works and loves watching it shoot up in the night sky. Worth seeing the joy on his face.

The first one we got was missing the stand, Amazon sent us a new one and it worked great until it got stepped on. The yellow tube is a hard plastic that is brittle and will break if too much pressure is applied. If you don't step on it you should be fine but we only got to play with ours for a couple weeks.
