First off, Amazon has two listings of this toy this one and also here B. Rrroll Model Boogie Bus. I emailed customer service and they acknowledged that it is the same item but would not merge the two. Instead they told me to just post the same review in the second listing. Why is this important to you? It is important because at the time I purchased it, it was a $3 cheaper on this listing. So if you are buying this, check here and the other listing for the best price. Now to the review!

The video explains the toy and its parts but a couple things to take note.

The bus has 4 passengers and 1 driver (I mistakenly said 4 people instead of 5 but you can clearly see 5 in the video)

The 3 types of modes the bus can be used for are:

1. "Try me" when this is selected and when the bus driver is pressed when operating the bus, it will go 1 cycle (lights flash, rev engine and move about 4 feet and stop)

2. "On" when this is selected and when the bus driver is pressed when operating the bus, it will keep repeating the cycle (lights flash, rev engine and move about 4 feet, stop, and then repeat the cycle)

3. "Off" when this is selected, the bus will not move

Fun factor My wee one loves it and is his favorite toy right now (he is 2 years old).

Educational It teaches kids about the workings of the bus, who can operate it, and where to safely put the passengers.

Durability The item is made from plastic so throwing the item or dropping it from a high position will probably break some of the parts (like the stop sign or maybe the back) but that is not really the intended use of the toy, so normal operation will not put any unusual wear and tear on it. If the bus runs into the wall while operating, it probably will not break it.

My 22 month old son is obsessed with Wheels on the Bus so I wanted to get him a bus to play with. He LOVES this toy. It has stayed out on his play mat since we got it for him a few months ago. My only complaint is that the first one we got did not last it died in a few days. Luckily, we were able to exchange it and the second one has survived some pretty rough play (my son likes to make the bus fall off of our coffee table).

This is a really cute bus and the little people are great, but it stopped working within days of purchasing it. It still shakes but won't propel forward or make the honking sound I think it used to make. Love the B. products but was really disappoint this one crapped out so soon.

Update:

But recently it was obvious it needed new batteries and after replacing the batteriesit did everything it was supposed to do and with great vigor! The factory installed batteries apparently don't last long or were drained in the store by the time we took it home. Fun, cute, entertaining toy. My son insists on holding/playing with this bus when we sing the "wheels on the bus" song.

My son likes this bus. I will say the people were smaller than I thought they'd be. I don't think they are a choking hazard, but I would be careful with very young kids. I had to put new batteries in the bus when I received it so that it worked properly. Also, I had a horrible time trying to get the plastic off of it. My husband ended up having to pry the last of the packaging off with a screwdriver. I don't see the need for that extra plastic.
