These magnets are stronger than I expected, which is great. However, they are quite brittle and can break easily or pinch fingers when allowed to snap together. I coated a bunch of them in plasti-dip to dampen the impact and keep them from breaking, since we use them in hands-on science demonstrations. It has worked great so far...

The magnetic field of these magnets is strong enough for use in making simple electric motor in class. They can be easily separated from each other.

These magnets are very strong. They pinch your fingers when they attract each other! I use them to teach students about magnetism. They would be great for arts and crafts projects as well. The edges are a bit sharplike they've been sliced by a machine. Definitely not smoothed edges.
